The studio apartment in the barn is open plan apart from the fully tiled bathroom/laundry. It has a partial mezzanine for the queen bed and two singles. It is only available for summer rentals.

Plentiful supplies of freshly ironed sheets, towels, blankets and doonas are stored in the linen cupboard. There is a good sound system, television, satellite TV, classical CD collection, hundreds of books covering a wide range of subjects and a selection of games for your enjoyment. Jigsaws, books and toys for young children have been donated by our now-teenage son.

Stainless steel structures support a 250 kilo piece of Carrara marble to serve as the kitchen bench. An Ilve gas stove, stainless steel fridge, and shelving complete the kitchen.

There are two comfortable sofas, one of which converts into a queen bed for occasional visitors.

The dining table seats eight or you can dine al fresco beside the fig tree adjacent to the terrace and the small orchard.
