The Villa

The front doors of the Villa with the Initial M for the former owners wrought in iron leading into the hallway and the old stone staircase from the original villa.
There are three rooms with queen beds (one on the ground floor), two with twin beds and a cot for young guests.
For adventurous chefs who embrace the concept of not only slow food but slow cooking there is an old wood oven outside the kitchen door.
Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or al fresco on the terrace.
Furnishings have been bought to maintain the country feel with, for example, typical Tuscan wicker-seated chairs and nice comfortable sofas.

There is a good sound system, television, satellite TV,
classical CD collection, hundreds of books covering a wide range of
subjects and a selection of games for your enjoyment. Jigsaws, books
and toys for young children have been donated by our now-teenage son.
There is a fully tiled bathroom on each level and a laundry in the basement.
Plentiful supplies of freshly ironed linen and towels are stored on
the ground floor and blankets, doonas and pillows upstairs.
